Post-Bush Era: Will the World Change under an Obama Administration?

CRG Newsletter. Lead Articles

Dear Global Research Member and Newsletter Subscriber

Last week, the World witnessed a historical presidential election. The US election campaign unfolded at the height of the meltdown of financial markets.

The Bush era will soon be history. Change or Continuity?

What are the economic prospects under a Barack Obama administration? What economic solutions will be put forth? Will the Middle East war continue? What foreign policy directions might one expect under an Obama adminstration?

This issue of the CRG E-Newsletter contains a review of the “political transition” in the US including an analysis of Obama’s cabinet appointments.

It is our hope that our endeavors will contribute to curbing the tide of media disinformation, ultimately with a view to eradicating poverty, restoring social justice and establishing an enduring peace in the Middle East.

It is, therefore, important that the articles published by Global Research reach a broad readership.
While Global Research operates on a shoe string budget compared with the well-endowed establishment think tanks, we have more readers than the powerful Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) (see graph)

The response from our readers has been tremendous and we thank you for your feedback and encouragement. However, with increasing numbers turning to Global Research as their choice for alternative news, we ask that you make a donation of your choice so that we may continue to deliver the information that matters to you.

Consider the following:

– received over 1.5 million visits last month (more than 50,000 visits a day);

–We have surpassed many mainstream media sites in total numbers of readers;

–Our daily newsletter now reaches over 12,500 subscribers.

Please keep in mind that Global Research remains fully independent by not accepting money from public or private foundations.

If you unable to make a donation, you can help us by cross-posting and/or forwarding Global Research articles, sending them to your friends on your e-mail lists, posting them on internet blogs., etc. This will help us reach a broad readership.
