Brussels, 6 February – While US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is paying a visit to Israel, experts from the US Defense Department and Israel have drafted a plan to carry out a military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities. As the experts at the European Commission in Brussels, who revealed the information, explained this news is designed to press the EU negotiatiors to put the screws on Iran and force it to suspend all its activities related to uranium enrichment, threatening that the US and Israel would carry out a military strike if Iran fails to comply with the US-Israeli impositions.

The EU-experts revealed also that the US are pursuing their covert activities in Iran with the aim of spying on the Iranian nuclear sites and stirring up ethnical and sectarian disorders to destabilize the Iranian government. These revelations match with news reported yesterday by US media, according to which Republican Senator Pat Roberts, the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee declared that “we have to be more pre-emptive on this committee to try to look ahead and determine our capabilities so that you don’t get stuck with a situation like you did with Iraq. The aim of the Senate review is to ensure that any weaknesses in American intelligence on Iran are being disclosed to policymakers, and that US spy agencies have adequate resources to fill gaps in collecting information on the Islamic republic”.
