The Global Research Website was Hacked

Dear Readers,

The Global Research website as well as our French language website mondialisation.ca were hacked yesterday.

This was the work of an “independent hacker” who visibly does not like the content of our website. Neither the security of our server nor our data bank were in any way affected.  The service was promptly restored.

A slowdown was also experienced in the early hours of  Friday morning due to the unusually large traffic, which has developed since the launch of our new website template on September 1st.

Our apologies for this inconvenience. We are working hard to ensure that these technical disruptions do not occur in the future.

More generally, our team is working around the clock, late at night, early in the morning, with a view to bringing accurate and timely news and analysis to our readers Worldwide.

A lot of work has gone into writing, researching and editing, with a view to reaching a broad readership.

The New World order destroys people’s lives.

War destroys entire countries.

Austerity measures applied in more than 100 countries trigger a process of global impoverishment.

At this critical juncture in our history, commitment to truth and honest reporting is the driving force.

We operate on a shoestring. Consider supporting us so that we can move forward

Our readership has expanded dramatically, yet at the same our earnings have subsided.

To maintain our independence, we do not seek foundation funding and elite philanthropic sponsorship, which invariably contribute to setting limits on the scope and focus of media reporting.

We therefore largely rely on contributions from our readers.

Please consider making a donation and/or becoming a Global Research Member. Any amount large or small will contribute to the broad objective of Truth in Media.

Tax Receipts for deductible charitable contributions

We are now in a position through our fiscal sponsorship program, to provide tax receipts for deductible charitable contributions by US residents for donations to Global Research in excess of $400.00

If you are a US resident and wish to make a tax deductible donation of $400 or more, contact us at [email protected] (please indicate “US Donation” in the subject line) and we will send you the details.

We are much indebted for your support.

For peace, social justice and truth,

Michel Chossudovsky

Director, Centre for Research on Globalization (CRG)
