This week’s guests:

John McGlynn, Briton Amos and Sherwood Ross are the featured guest on The Global Research News Hour

John McGlynn
is an independent Tokyo-based economic and financial analyst. His most recent article is entitled Day of Infamy: The March 20, 2008 US Declaration of War on Iran. According to John McGlynn, a unit within the US Treasury Department, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), has issued a March 20 advisory to the world’s financial institutions which calls for a freeze on all financial transactions with Iran. According to John McGlynn this decision, which is intended to isolate Iran, is tantamount to a declaration of war.

Brit Amos is the author of Death of the Bees: GMO Crops and the Demise of Bee colonies in North America published by Global Research. He operates a Bee colony on a certified  isolated organic vegetable farm in Ontario. He ascribes the death of the bees to the extensive use of genetically modified organisms (GMO) in farming. Amos is also director of a Non-governmental Charity Organization that delivers medical equipment to post-conflict areas internationally.

Sherwood Ross will be focussing on the plight of small businesses across America, how they are being displaced and destroyed by heavily subsidized multinational corporations. Sherwood Ross is a prominent author and analyst. He has written for the Chicago Daily News and Reuters,  has acted as media consultant to colleges, universities, law schools and numerous national magazines including The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Business Week, and Foreign Policy. He is a frequent contributor to Global Research.
