12 of the 26 foreign terrorists that have been active in Syria have been wiped out in the Arab country.
Some of the 12 are French, British and Belgian nationals, according to the Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations, Bashar al-Jafari, who has submitted a list of foreign mercenaries to the UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon. According to Jafari, the militants are closely linked to the Al-Qaeda international terrorist organization.
Following the recent dual terrorist attack in Damascus, Syria urged the UN Security Council to take action against the countries, organizations and the mass media that use terrorism as a method of policy pursing and encourage terrorists. Two blasts tore through Damascus on Thursday, killing 55 and injuring 372 others.
