Steven Mann appointed to new post

Washington: US State Department Senior Advisor for Caspian Basin Energy Diplomacy Ambassador Steven Mann was appointed Senior Counselor for International Government Affairs, ExxonMobil, one of the largest oil companies of the United States, the APA US bureau reports.

Steven Mann is expected to be responsible for intergovernmnetal relations mostly with the Caucasian and Central Asian countries.

Mann was the OSCE Minsk Group US co-chair for a time alongside with his Caspian energy policy office.

ExxonMobile incomes were above $425 billion in 2008.
