At New York’s Rockefeller Center, named after John D. Rockefeller Jr., the Green flag of  the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya continues to fly …

Below the Green Flag is the golden statue of Prometheus, which constitutes a mysterious symbol of imperial power. 

The Rockefeller Center symbolizes the US Financial establishment. Was it an oversight or was there a decision by the Rockefeller Center to retain the Green Flag? 

The Rockefeller Centre is currently owned by Tishman Speyer Properties together with the Lester Crown Family of  Chicago. (Wikipedia).
 
Jerry Speyer, who owns Tishman Speyer is a close friend of David Rockefeller.
