Palestinian Popular Front: Rice’s real objectives during tours is to divide the Middle East

The spokesperson of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), on Sunday said that the American secretary of state, Condoleezza Rice’s, visit to the region aims to recruit allies and supporters for the new Bush strategy in Iraq. This strategy, said the PFLP’s spokesperson, is meant to break the resistance and steadfastness of the Iraqi people.

The spokesperson warned of the true objectives behind Rice’s visit and American plans to divide the people of the region into moderates and extremists in an attempt to encourage domestic fighting.

The spokesperson also called for rejection of the American-Israeli involvement in Palestinian national issues and urged Palestinians to stick to their democratic choice and give precedence to dialogue as the best means to end their dispute.
