Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya is a Sociologist and Research Associate at the Centre for Research on Globalization. He is also a contributor at the Strategic Culture Foundation Moscow, and a member of the Scientific Committee of Geopolitica, Italy.

An award-winning author and geopolitical analyst, Nazemroaya is the author of The Globalization of NATO and a forthcoming book The War on Libya and the Re-Colonization of Africa. He has also contributed to several other books ranging from cultural critique to international relations. He has served as an election observer recently both in El Salvador and as detailed last week, in Syria. He was also present in Libya during the NATO military intervention there in 2011.

He has contributed dozens of articles to globalresearch.ca. He was in Winnipeg Manitoba recently where I had a chance to interview him about some of the major developments on the world scene. The following discussion took place at CKUW’s studio at the University of Winnipeg on June 18, 2014.
