Both historically and geographically, Israel remains the migrant cuckoo in an indigenous Arab Muslim nest. Its claimed parentage being based on many tenuous stories of hearsay; embellished and altered by hundreds of self-styled prophets, scribes, politicians, commentators and ideologues over many hundreds of years to reflect their own religious persuasions and personal views on the world in general. It is, in very many parts, a harrowing tale of extreme violence, envy, idolatry, adultery, theft and human failings – which is probably why it has remained on the best-reading list for so long.

However, it is certainly likely, that based on the historiography such as it is, there was indeed – amongst many others – a tribe, the nomadic members of which called themselves Israelites, one of whom was called Jesus of Nazareth who like many others of the time, had followers or as they called themselves, disciples.

But that was well over 2000 years ago a timespan that equates to approximately eighty generations of our own antecedents. There were also either contemporaneously, or subsequently, other religious/political movements, two of which were named Christianity and Islam, respectively. They all had numerous followers but only these latter two can claim today to be predominate – but neither one being the religious movement based on the ancient Hebrew tribe of over 2000 years ago in what is now Jerusalem. This latter minority movement, that is arguably the oldest, is the Judaism that is based on the Hebrew sect of Jesus of Nazareth.

The problem today is that this migrant cuckoo in its Middle Eastern nest has been clandestinely armed with nuclear weapons by its co-religionists in the United States. This is the frightening factor – tragically ignored by so many Western governments – that could very easily provide the spark that will engulf all of us in the world’s first nuclear war.

That stark fact should concentrate the mind, particularly of Europeans and Americans who would likely suffer the greatest consequences. And this could happen anytime; next week, next month, or perhaps even tomorrow – because cuckoos are not conducive to civil rights.
