Israel Held ‘Largest Ever’ Air Combat Drill Nearby, On Same Day as Russian Sinai Crash

Last week, 21WIRE raised a number of the questions, including the possibility that Israeli intelligence could have been involved in the downing of Russian Metro Airlines Flight 7K9268.

It’s no revelation that the Egyptian resort destination of Sharm El-Sheikh is also a well-known Israeli Mossad ‘intelligence playground’. If indeed Israeli covert operatives were somehow involved in this incident, it wouldn’t be the first time that Israel carried out a false flag attack in order to manipulate another nation into a wider war. The case of Israel’s attack on the USS Libertyis a prime example of this.

Any one who has studied false flag attacks will know the importance of running a large ‘security drill’ or military exercise – in order to provide cover for any military chatter which might be picked up by a neutral observer and also to deflect any attention away from a nearby clandestine operation.

What we discovered next might shock some readers (but will hardly surprise them)…

As it turns out – on the very same day as the Russian airline crash in the Sinai Peninsula on October 30th, and only 40 miles away from the crash zone, the Israeli Military was hosting its largest-ever international Air Defense drill based at Ovda Airfield near Eilat and taking place over the Arava desert in the south of Israel.

According to its organizers, the military exercise included Israeli, American, Greek, and Polish air personnel, together “squaring off against a fictional enemy state in two-week drill”.

The event included all of Israel’s most advanced air and communications capabilities.

According to the Times of Israel:

The “Blue Flag” exercise, which is continuing through November 3, pits the Israeli Air Force, the United States Air Force, Greece’s Hellenic Air Force and the Polish Air Force against a fictional enemy state, the captain in charge of all IAF exercises told The Times of Israel Thursday night. A number of other countries, including Germany, also sent pilots and officers to observe the exercise, but did not take part.

This joint drill is the second “Blue Flag” exercise; the first took place in 2013 and was the largest multi-lateral exercise the IAF had ever hosted.

Those requests came together to form the plan for “Blue Flag,” which sent Israeli and American F-15 squadrons, along with Israeli, Hellenic and Polish F-16 squadrons, flying through nearly all of Israel’s air space, firing simulated weapons against fictional enemy missile launchers, convoys and aircraft, he said.

Is it possible that the plane was shot down by an advanced combat aircraft? It’s very possible – and this massive drill would have provided the cover for it.

Plane Hacking?

One of the key features of any multi-agency and multi-branch military exercise is communications and electronic warfare.

This was the exact same scenario which took place just south of the downing of Flight MH17 in summer of 2014 as NATO, led by the US, carried out two major military and electronic warfare exercises on the same day as the crash – and only a few miles south of the firing zone. 21WIREreported last year:

It’s no coincidence that US and NATO conducted a large-scale military and intelligence drill in the Black Sea just south of Crimea named, SEA BREEZE 2014, which just so happened to end on… July 17th. The drill included hundreds of US military specialists running ‘war simulations’ in electronic warfare, data collection from a spy satellite, and ‘monitoring’ of all passenger aircraft flying in the region. A massive drill – yet another improbable coincidence.

In addition to SEA BREEZE, both US and British armed forces had also scheduled a concurrent military exercise, code named, Rapid Trident 2014, a NATO event which takes place annually in and around the Ukraine, designed to “promote regional stability and security, strengthen partnership capacity and foster trust while improving interoperability between the land forces of Ukraine, and NATO and partner nations,” according to the US Forces in Europe website. Since March, the Pentagon has kept quiet regarding the number of US forces, and hardware assets expected to participate in the maneuvers.

Why is this important? Because it’s now admitted that many Boeing and Airbus planes can be hacked into from multiple entry points. In 2013, Hack In The Box exposed how an airliner can be hacked via its Automated Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) (unencrypted and unauthenticated) which can lead to passive attacks like eavesdropping or active attacks such as message jamming and injection, and also through the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS).

In addition to this hacking route, 21WIRE also revealed the existence of a technology referred to as the Boeing-Honeywell ‘Uninteruptable Autopilot’, whereby an external party can take control of the flight functions. This system is standard on most Boeing and Airbus models. When engaged, external cockpit communications are halted while the plane is flown ‘by wire’ to a destination (or crashed?). 21WIRE has also looked into the unprecedented disappearance of MH370, thesubsequent downing of MH17, and the fateful Germanwings Flight which crashed last spring, where details have come to light regarding the history of the remote autopilot function installed within Boeing commercial airliners (a subject which also opens the door to the events of 9/11).

Is Israel advanced enough to engage in this level of interference and subterfuge? Absolutely. Do they have a motive? That part is unclear, but considering the Palestinian Intifada which has broken out in Jerusalem and the West Bank and Israel’s brutal crack-down and violent reaction to it, Israel certainly wouldn’t mind the media distraction.

Look at what was at stake geopolitically back in 1967 – at the height of the Cold War and Vietnam, and during Arab-Israeli Six Day War, and the fact that Israel used this as cover to carry out a false flag attack which could have triggered another world war.

Today’s conditions are very similar – and so is the location of both incidents.

Terrorist Missile Media Black-Out at Sharm El Sheikh in August

For some reason, both Washington and London have been quick to blame an “ISIS bomb” for this Russian air tragedy – despite having no real evidence to back their “intelligence”. Considering the mounting evidence showing ISIS and al Qaeda links with US and Saudi covert intelligence operations, then any overly enthusiastic “ISIS” claims from the US and its partners should really be viewed with extreme suspicion.

It’s also worth pointing out that western media were very quiet about an incredible story from this past August which should have been a massive news story – instead it was buried. Why? Was this a planted story, to be paraded in the media after the fact? Here it is…

According to the Daily Mail, on August 23, a Thomson flight from London Stansted with 189 passengers on board came ‘within 1,000ft’ of a rocket as it approached Sharm El Sheikh. The pilot turned left after he spotted the missile speeding through the air. The jet landed safely, and holidaymakers were not told they had been seconds from disaster.

The Department for Transport confirmed the incident.

Why were the British Government so quiet about this incident – compared to the Russian crash – which hasn’t even been proven yet to be “terror-related”?

Lots of unanswered questions surrounding this incident.
