Teheran — Iran”s Islamic Revolution Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused on Wednesday the intelligence services of the United States, Great Britain and Israel of encouraging “blind terrorism” against this nation.

Khamenei again accused the US, British and Israeli governments of being the “principal supporters” of those who carried out an attack on Thursday in Zahedan, capital of the Sistan-Baluchestan, bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan.

That city was the scene of two bomb explosions in front of the Great Mosque caused by the Sunni extremist organization Jundullah (Soldier of God), in which 27 people were killed and more than 100 were wounded, including Iranian soldiers.

To commemorate the seven days of the lethal attack, the religious leader stated that “blind terrorism in the Middle East has killed several innocent people, and it is the work of the United States, Great Britain and Israel, who are seeking to create sectarian divisions.”

Khamenei said Iran “will not allow mercenaries and arrogant powers to achieve their objectives,” and urged authorities to take firm and serious measures to stop those who try to undermine the revolution’s unity and security in the Iranian State.
