MOSCOW: Georgian special services have a role in bringin terrorists into Chechnya, Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov said.
“Audio reports, seized from militants, indicate that with Al Qaeda emissaries they had established contacts with Georgian special services, which helped organize the training and transfer of terrorists to Chechnya,” Bortnikov told the National Anti-Terror Committee on Tuesday.
Moreover [Georgian special services] “keep making attempts to deliver weapons, explosives and funds for staging subversive acts at hazardous facilities in Dagestan, first of all on oil ad gas pipelines,” he said.
