The British Prime Minister who sold arms to Netanyahu, the Gauleiter of Gaza

Binyamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel and Commander-in-Chief of Israeli Occupation Forces in the West Bank and East Jerusalem and Overseer of Gaza, with their combined populations of 4.5 million indigenous Palestinians – has further hegemonic ambitions.

In order to expand his reach into global circles of power and influence, this former architect from Philadelphia uses an array of state terrorism, nuclear proliferation, illegal shipping blockades, civilian harassment, detention without trial, separation walls, watch towers, military and diplomatic proxies and, now and again, various methods of assassination to silence his enemies on the streets of Tehran, Beirut, Damascus, London, Paris, New York, a hotel bedroom in Dubai and on a Turkish-registered, humanitarian aid vessel on the high seas in international waters. The unacceptable ‘explanations’ offered for this state- sponsored terrorism are always the same – ‘self defence’.

This is in addition to his political lobbies in Washington, New York, London, Paris, Berlin and Brussels that work 24/7 to ensure, by all means available, that no legislation is ever enacted that will obstruct or hamper his ambitions for a Greater Israel with ever more powerful links into the economic centres and political capitals of Europe, North America and the world.

That is the hidden reason that the European Union has declined to take any steps to abrogate the extraordinary trade agreement that gives the Israeli state free and preferential access to the whole of the European Single Market notwithstanding that Israel itself is located in the Middle East; is not a member of NATO or the EU and is not bound by European law.

The identity of the EU officials who are responsible for the maintenance of this carefully devised political and economic stratagem that continues to bolster the substantial bilateral trade that keeps the Israeli economy and illegal settlement, afloat – can only be a matter of conjecture. As is also the details of their reward.

However, the names of those in Britain who support Mr Netanyahu’s Likud government policies in the Occupied Territories are a matter of public record: they include ex Prime Minister David Cameron and his Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI) lobby, whose government has sold British arms to the Gauleiter of Gaza for five years despite public condemnation.
