Managua, Aug 15.- Israel deserves to be expelled from the United Nations, due to its constant attacks on Palestine, the former president of the General Assembly of that multilateral mechanism, Miguel D’Escoto, said in this capital.

According to the former Nicaraguan foreign minister, all nations of the world must break off trade and diplomatic relations with Israel, while that country persists in continuing to attack the Palestinian people.

“That’s enough verbal condemnations to the atrocities committed daily by the Zionists, the prostitutes of the empire, to say it in biblical language, against the State and the entire Palestinian people,” D’Escoto said.

For the Catholic priest, who was awarded with the Golden Medal of Honor of the National Assembly of Nicaragua, a great coercive campaign should start, according to the principle of non-violence against the State of Israel, to abide all UN resolutions since 1967, including the borders.

But while that campaign does not start, all kinds of relations with Israel should be broken, he emphasized.

D’Escoto urged for peace in the Middle East, and particularly, he advocated for ensuring that right to the Palestinian State and its people.(Prensa Latina)
