We bring to the attention of our readers the photos of Iran's military exercises, featuring helicopters and armored vehicles, with links to Mehr News agency.phot gallery
The weaponary and equipment shown are not the among the most advanced in Iran's. There are weapons in Iran's arsenal which are not shown in these photos.
The holding of these exercises points to the fact Iran is preparing to respond to a possible US led military operation, which could be launched pursuant to a UN Security Council resolution in relation to Iran's alleged (nonexistant) nuclear weapons program
A US sponsored military operation, which contemplates the use of tactical nuclear weapons directed against Iran, would immediately lead to escalation in the broader Middle East.
It is important that these US war plans be firmly opposed by a vast Worldwide antiwar movement.
