THREATENING RUSSIA: NATO Missile Shield Command Post To Be Deployed To Germany

The command post of NATO’s European anti-missile shield will be deployed to the German military base of Rammstein, AFP cited today European diplomatic sources as saying.

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen stated late January that the European missile shield would be built in 8-10 years.

Mr. Rasmussen went on to say he hoped NATO would be able to announce the initial stage of the operational readiness at its May 2012 summit in Chicago.
