Thomas Kean, 9/11 Commission Chairman, Gets Confronted

Chairman of 9/11 Whitewash Commission sets stage for Al Qaeda Nuke Attack – jonesreport.com

The press conference before the speech was turned out to be a great opportunity, because literally half of the questions were hostile, and I was able to ask Mr. Kean a question about why the 9/11 Commission, on page 172 of their report, stated that the question of who bankrolled the September 11th attacks was “of little practical significance.” He replied that the job cost so little money and that it was too hard to trace. So I got from Mr. Kean an admission that following the money trail in a crime that took the lives of 3000 people was “of little practical significance” because it only cost about $166 per murder and was too much of a bother to pursue. This was an astonishing red flag screaming “cover-up”.

I also asked him why there is not even one word about the mysterious collapse of World Trade Center building 7 in the 9/11 Commission Report. I basically read him the riot act on building 7…no plane it it, perfectly symmetrical collapse, the FEMA report not matching Larry Silverstein’s “admission” that he and the New York Fire Department control demolished it on the spur of the moment and forgot to tell anyone about it, the video evidence of explosive charges going off, the molten metal found in the basement…and Mr. Kean blew off the question! He claimed he saw no evidence of what I was saying, and said it was not part of his report. I thought to myself, “for a guy supposed to be in charge of the whole inquiry, he sure seems blissfully ignorant of the facts”. A vision of the “see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil” monkeys popped into my head.

In his speech to the throngs of students, Mr. Kean kept stressing his biggest fear…that the terrorists would smuggle a nuke into this country and set it off. He recommended biometric ID cards for everyone! I thought about the Bush Administration pushing to let the Communist Chinese screen cargo coming through Panama ports, to make sure no nukes get in. The hypocrisy was almost unbearable. It is the same tired old mantra…”give up your freedom or the boogey man will get you”. Mr. Kean’s admissions that he is not interested in following the money trail, and that the controlled demolition of building 7 is unimportant are ample proof that 9/11 was an inside job, Kean was hired to pull the wool over the eyes of the sheep, and if we give up our liberty to these people, we will never get it back.

In the link above is a video clip of the question answer section, parts of his speech, and 9/11 activists which came to the appearance in protest. The video clip itself is a major piece of evidence for the incompetence/complicity of the 9/11 Commission chairman.

In it he makes the following two comments:

Everybody had a conflict of one kind or another

I’m not aware of the $100,000 [mumbling] to Mohammad Atta

The first statement is a bold faced admission that the 9/11 Commission had multiple conflicts of interest , and in the second statement is a bold faced admission that the 9/11 Commission had no intention to cover the questions posed by family members .

Here is #22 from their list of questions:

Why did Mahmood Ahmed, Director of Pakistan’s secret service, the (ISI) order Saeed Sheikh to wire $100,000 to hijacker Mohamed Atta?

  • What was Mahmood Ahmed’s relationship with Al Qaeda?

  • Where did the money come from?

  • Did officials in Pakistan know in advance about the terrorist attack?

  • On September 11th , Mahmood Ahmed had a breakfast meeting in Washington, D.C., with House and Senate Intelligence Committee chairmen, Rep. Porter Goss and Senator Bob Graham. What were they discussing?

Washington Times :

On May 15, 2003, a group of 9/11 victims’ relatives met with the commission co-chairman Thomas Kean and other senior staff and submitted a list of questions, which included a mention of Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Ahmed. A June 17, 2004, the New York Times reported that Lorie Van Auken, whose husband died in the World Trade Center, was “irate” that the June 16 commission narrative of the 9/11 attacks did not even mention the allegation about Ahmed’s role in the $100,000 transfer to Mohammed Atta. Clearly, the ISI link is no mere conspiracy theory.

Letter to the Washington Post (Oct, 2004) :

What about the reports that the Pakistani secret service ISI wired $100,000 to Mohamed Atta? The ISI is often credited as the creator of the Taliban, and its operatives have been linked to the Bin Ladin networks. ISI is also linked to CIA, as historically close allies.

The ISI director, Mahmud Ahmed, was on a two-week visit to Washington and met for breakfast at the Capitol on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001 with the heads of the congressional intelligence committees, Bob Graham and Porter Goss. A month later, when Pakistani strongman Pervez Musharraf reshuffled his cabinet on the eve of the Afghanistan invasion, he forced Ahmed to resign, acting on a request from the FBI. (7)

After 9/11, Graham and Goss oversaw the 858-page report of the congressional joint inquiry into 9/11. The term ISI never occurs in their report, at least not in the 75 percent of the text published after “redactions.”

The second statement quoted above lends further credence to the multiple news reports which state that the Pakistani government courted the 9/11 Commission, and the congressional inquiry, for preferential treatment.

The 9/11 Commission report has been proven to be full of omissions and distortions , but these latest statements straight from the ‘horses mouth’ demand media attention to their failures in investigating 9/11.
