Global Research brings to the attention of our readers a selection of photos from “the large anti-Iran protest movement” at Columbia University during the talk of the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The US media provided an utterly distorted picture of this protest movement.

Alongside the anti-Iran demonstrators, there were large numbers of people demonstrating against the Bush administration.

A significant part of the crowd which gathered at Columbia University, were in fact anti-war protestors demanding an end to US threats directed against Iran.

Realities were turned upside down. Many people in the crowd at Columbia University were protesting against Bush rather than Ahmadinejad.
